At Capitol Auto Group, one of the ways we demonstrate how much our customers mean to us is by providing financial support and being an active participant in community initiatives and organizations. As long-standing, active sponsors, we've had unforgettable and meaningful opportunities to support local schools, community and sporting events, charities, and more. We count this participation as one of our greatest successes, and we look forward to serving our community wherever and whenever we can. Here are just a few of our past events and organizations we've supported...

Capitol Is Crazy About Animals

Bowser's Boo Bash is Willamette Humane Society's annual costumed dinner and auction presented by Capitol Auto Group.  It's a fun event that helps the Willamette Humane Society care for thousands of animals and match them with loving new homes.

Capitol sponsors Willamette Humane Society's Will A Mutt Strut 5K Dog Walk to help raise money to help the animals in our community.

Capitol hosts pet training and has cars on site at events held by Willamette Humane Society to help their furry friends too.

We Support Our Community

The Capitol Auto Group Race Team supports the community by making it to over 25 events a year.  They stay busy between races sharing their love of racing with their fans at schools, scouting events, cruise-ins, car shows and fairs.  They support the Children's Cancer Association,   Race Against Drugs, Fueled By The Fallen and their own "Crew Member for the Day" program..  The Capitol Auto Group Rocketeer Dragster is a blown alcohol dragster that reaches speeds up to 200 MPH in six seconds. The dragster is owned and driven by Rich Bailey.  We're always happy to see our fans and hope to see you at an event soon.

Capitol at Play and Fundraising

Capitol also enjoys interacting with other businesses and people at golf tournaments. Capitol sponsors many golf tournaments that benefit local charities as well as organizations such as the Salem Chamber and the Boys & Girls Club of Salem.

The Oregon National Guard Hoopla is not only Oregon's largest and premier 3-on-3 basketball event, but also an event committed to bettering the community. Beyond staging one of Oregon's most prestigious family-friendly sporting events, Hoopla generates thousands of dollars for local charities annually. Most of these funds are given to organizations that focus on youth athletic or activity programs in the Salem-Keizer, Oregon area.

Capitol Auto Group's Child Safety Day and Fun Fair with former University of Oregon Football, Basketball, and Track star Jordan Kent with SpongeBob SquarePants.

We Believe In Investing In Our Community

Here we are handing over our check to the United Way for our 2014 United Way fundraising campaign "28 Days of Love" in the amount of $100,000!! The United Way of Marion and Polk Counties creates a lasting impact in our community through education, financial stability and health.

Capitol Auto Group supports the Salem Chamber and hosts a Chamber Greeters event at Capitol Subaru.  The folks at Capitol Auto Group also donate hundreds of pounds of canned food each year to the Marion Polk Food Share.
